Sometimes they cancel your appointment if you don't confirm it when they call. This is due to the amount of traffic they get from the uninsured and otherwise, so they try to always make sure they have someone. The doctor was really kind and listened to me thoroughly, even though I'm only 27 and have a rare genetic condition that requires me to have heavy narcotics. He really helped me manager my pain while making sure I don't' develop any addictions. We calculated what makes the most sense, and he offered to increase my dosage when I had been visiting ER almost 5 times some months for my condition. Didn't make me feel guilty or a junkie for accepting that I need a higher dosage, even though I didn't want it personally. I really admire that in a doctor or workplace that is medical. They don't judge you, they assess the situation and react appropriately. I like this place to be honest. Really changed my state of being.
After receiving literature in the mail that Apex Medical was under new management as well as operating under a new name, I decided to call for an appointment.
I am not going to bother with this medical practice. It is very clear that a patient gets exactly what she/he pays for...poor quality, bad service and rude, unmotivated staff who have no standards and no professionalism. I do not deal with ghetto people.
A young black girl rudely answered the telephone as if it were her Trac Phone and immediately began asking for my personal information. She never bothered saying hello, how may I help you or why I would like to be seen. After entering my information into a computer, the girl then asks me the nature of my problem and put the telephone down, not on hold, to check for a next available date.
I have been a patient at Apex Family since Dr C. Byrd was there. Since he left the office has completely gone down hill. I have never experience such horrible treatment. I was never notified that the doctor I was suppose to see had quit his job 2 weeks ago and the the appointment had been canceled. This is completely unprofessional. I will not be back. I had to give a One star rating but they don't deserve that.
Quality care for my children. If you need to be seen this is a friendly, efficient and clean office. Staff are always pleasant and caring! Have to wait sometimes but name me an office in wake county that doesn't make you have to wait. When you see the doctor you feel as if your questions are important and you are his main priority! This is the way modern medicine should be!
I were rudely and very unprofessionally told that I could not be seen and would need to reestablish myself as a patient before being seen by one of the doctors. I asked how to accomplish this and the girl told me that I would need to schedule an appointment. Unfortunately, the girl's bad attitude got in the way of her listening and simple reasoning skills because she could not figure out that scheduling an appointment was what I tried to do during that telephone call.
Don't even get close to dental clinic. They are charging you more than other clinic and the service is awful. They accept the patient but they don't have enough staff!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.I have never seen such a bad services in whole my life
