Judging by the parking lot filled with cars no self respecting southerner would ever buy (minivans, pretentious hybrids, boxy little Kia’s, etc.) and the frenzied manner in which they were operated, I sadly believe that I was the lone soul in there actually from Apex. Let alone from the great state of NC. The various screeching, insanity inducing non-local accents I overhead in store helped to solidify this heartbreaking thought. My once beautiful small hometown has finally been ruined. No doubt that when these people thoroughly turn Apex into the overtaxed, over regulated hell hole they left, they’ll pack up and move onto the next one.....and onto the next one.

You get to shop alongside self absorbed, know-it-all northeasterners and Californians. The beer prices are crazy and it lacks a beer den for somebody to get offended by like Lowe's has. While they don’t stock every single product for every single made up food allergy, they do stock some. This, IMO makes it a little less smug than a Whole Foods, but not by very much. Like others have stated, the service is indeed very good, however I don’t require someone to hold my hand when grocery shopping. The one thing I did like about this store was the pre-seasoned burgers in the meat dept. and the fact that I left feeling more full of myself than I did when I walked in.

I have shopped at this Apex location a handful of times, I do not like the layout of the store it Is irritating. I feel it is smaller than the Cary store and the selection is a bit different. The bakery bread selection was poor and what bread they had was hard. I couldn't wait to leave the store.

Great store. Super clean and organized. Everyone is nice. We are publix zombies from South Florida and are thrilled to have one here in Apex.

In summary, this Publix is not necessarily a bad store. I simply prefer Lowe's or Food Lion as both are good ol' NC companies. At Lowe's, you can walk around with a tasty draft beer in your hand, if for no other reason than to offend one of these unwanted, recently transplanted carpetbaggers. They also play great bluegrass music on the weekends and the price is right on just about everything. Food Lion is no frills and is great for getting in and out quick.

This is probably the same review I’d write about the upcoming Wegmans so I won’t review it. Thanks.

The most amazing service! And please do get a sub from the deli! Yummy! This supermarket chain is from Florida and I am from Florida… And I grew up with Publix. In Florida we called the sandwiches from the deli “pub subs“ and It’s a thing. “Pub subs” those subs from the deli or so completely delicious they will blow your mind. And that’s all I have to say about that...

The store location is very convenient to me, however I feel out of place when I shop there, so I try to avoid that store as much as possible, I call Publix and Lowes Foods the Fox News stores, where unless you are a white christian shopper you will be considered a second class shopper no matter how much money you spend. I feel a big difference in the treatment when I go to Harris Teeter or Krogers. I hope that someday they would separate business from politics and treat all their customers equally.
