A great place to take the family, the park is kept up very well, the bathhouses & bathrooms are decent , I say decent because people using them make the mess. The staff does a good job on keeping things clean. You just might have gone in there behind a slob. I have been camping at this lake for over 25 years and we'll keep going. The prices are very reasonable for what you get.
I made a reservation for 12/8 months ago and had to call to re-schedule 12/8 since the weather changed for the worse while travelling it was snowing/sleeting/freezing roads and was told NO by park staff (very short and unhelpful interaction) no help at all offered - VERY poor customer service. I was told by the reservation center when I called that I could do this if I called the park directly. The park manager refused to acknowledge extenuating circumstances and had zero compassion as well as the staff I spoke with. They advised I could still come even though I advised the weather conditions were unsafe. They seem to have forgotten that customer service sometimes requires more than answering the phone. I highly suggest other campgrounds

This is a great place to watch the sunset! It also is well set up for picnics, or just strolling on the beach.
This is my family's favorite place to take our camper. We don't live around here, but the drive is always worth it. The scenery is beautiful, the bathrooms are well kept, but most importantly it doesn't feel like your surrounded by people; there's a pretty good amount of space in between campsites. The lake is great for tubing, kayaking, and they have a roped off section of beach for swimming as well. My whole family and I love it here!
