Watch out for arms here. Several problems for several people I know. Deposit a check in ATM and if it takes it then gets stuck...so are you. They might issue a temporary credit after you call and report problem at an 800 number...if you are lucky and have good account history. Big castles and takes many weeks to resolve. Tired of problems and so i am changing banks. Wanted a big bank to avoid atm fees as I travel...but no longer impressed.
Went in to have a car title notarized and the manager said I had to have an appointment and to come back Monday. I told him I had called ahead. He reluctantly lead me to the office of the notary who was not busy. Once she found out I "only have a credit card with Bankamerica" she said she could notarized my title as seller unless the buyer was there also. I went to the UPS store and paid $5 for a notary. Last time i use their credit card.
ATMs works well and are always open. Went here to open a bank account, staff was very friendly and helpful.
I went to the bank to make a simple transaction. The assistant manager seem to have made judgments about me before I could tell him what I needed. He was rude and would cut me off before I could complete my sentences. I've never met this man before, but he appeared to have thought he knew "my type" without letting me complete a sentence. Complaining to the manager about this man did no good because she basically blamed me by stating that maybe I was upset before I came to the bank (she's a mind reader) and justified his behavior. At the end, she stated she would talk with her assistant manager, in a condescending manner- why or what would you need to talk to him about if you justified his behavior? Being a minority and knowing that I came there in the best of moods and intention, makes me wonder even more why I was treated in this manner. And no, I am not playing any "card." I deserve to be treated with respect like anyone else that walks in the bank- I know that I did not deserve to be treated in that manner.
